MTA Capital Construction
is building transportation infrastructure that will transform the future of New York City.
- Phase 1 of the Second Avenue Subway, which will extend Q train service from 63rd Street to new subway stations along Second Avenue at 72nd St., 86th St., and 96th St.
- the East Side Access project, which will bring Long Island Rail Road service from Jamaica Station directly to Grand Central Terminal
- the No. 7 Extension which extends the No. 7 subway from Times Square to a new station at 34th Street and 11th Avenue
- the Fulton Center, a new transit and retail hub in Lower Manhattan
These public infrastructure projects will ultimately improve the quality of life for millions of commuters, residents, and workers and contribute to the long term economic health of the city.
